Where to see the Legend Cub
|
American Legend Aircraft Company - Event Announcement
American Legend will be represented at the International Seaplane Fly-In next weekend by Mike Hart of the
historic Hampton Airfield (hamptonairfield.com).
Hart's Legend Cub will be flown in from Hampton Airfield (7B3) on TrickAir skis. These unique wheel-through
skis can be operated on most surfaces. When installed, the skis ride one-half inch off the ground allowing
takeoff, landing and taxi on snow, ice, grass and even hard surfaced runways without the need to change. Look
for the yellow Cub, N757LC, at Greenville Municipal Airport (3B1).
In addition to Hart's 2008 Legend Cub, at least two other Legend Cubs will be at the event. Look for the
PA-11-style Legend Cub, N471JB, flown in by Bill Belmore of Maynard, MA, and the Legend Cub Special, N1313V,
flown in by Dick Parsons of Avery Island, LA. Another closed cowl Legend Cub, N797WD, resides in Cushing, ME,
and is flown by Wes Daggett.
The 35th Annual International Seaplane Fly-In will take place from Thursday, September 4th to Sunday, September
7th, 2008, in Greenville, Maine. Events are scheduled on Moosehead Lake and Greenville Municipal Airport with a
shuttle operating between the two locations. For more information, go to www.seaplanefly-in.org.
For Legend Cub sales information, contact Mike Hart at 603-777-7990.
