Below is an e-mail I received from Rich. It was a slightly overcast, cool (20 deg.),calm morning.
 
  Subject: Maiden Voyage
 Date: Sunday, November 29, 1998 10:59 AM
 At approx. 0635 this morning the Titan broke ground and "Flew" for the
 first time, except for the shaky knee and clattering teeth of the pilot,
 all went extremely well. She flys like a dream and now I can sleep
 through the night. Soon she'll be coming to your neighborhood, well,
 some of you, for the early morning "buzz jobs"!!!
